Super competitor field at TDM guarantees four days of top sport

The Dutch Masters (13-16 March) guarantees four days of top-class sport with a great field of participants in both show jumping and dressage. No fewer than eight jumping riders from the top 10 will travel to the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Heavy competition therefore for our Dutch live contender Harrie Smolders and last year's Rolex Grand Prix winner Willem Greve.
Eight out of the top 10
Leading the list of international show jumpers is Swede Henrik Eckermann, ranked No 1 in the world for 2.5 years in a row. Von Eckermann also competes in the HeadFirst Group Prize-Best of Champions on Thursday evening. Rolex Testimonee Switzerland’s Martin Fuchs (5) will also be present and will have a serious shot at victory. Fuchs has already won a Major four times. World number 3 Kent Farrington (USA) will also travel to ‘s-Hertogenbosch as will Briton Ben Maher (4) and Paris Olympic champion Germany’s Christian Kukuk (6). German Richard Vogel (8), number 9 Max Kühner (AUT) and flying Frenchman Julien Epaillard (10) complete the top 10.
The Dutch representation is led by live contender Harrie Smolders and last year's winner and Dutch champion Willem Greve. Maikel van der Vleuten, winner of the VDL Prize in 2024, Kim Emmen and Leopold van Asten are also coming to the Brabanthallen.
Dressage
Dressage fans can also enjoy a comprehensive dressage programme with the best international riders, all bringing their top horses to the Brabanthallen. Multiple Olympic, World and European champion Isabell Werth (GER) will defend her victory in last year's FEI Dressage World Cup™ with DSP Quantaz and will face stiff competition from the likes of Britain's Charlotte Fry (Glamourdale) and Swede Patrik Kittel (Forever Young HRH). Fry won the World Cup Freestyle at The Dutch Masters in 2023 and Kittel won the Final in 2024. Belgium will be represented by Larissa Pauluis and Justin Verboomen, who rode his first World Cup competition in Mechelen last December and immediately claimed second place with his nine-year-old Zonik Plus. Nanna Skodborg-Merrald, who won a silver team medal at the Paris Olympics, will start for Denmark.
The Netherlands also comes with the best combinations of the moment led by Dinja van Liere and Hermès. Also travelling to ‘s-Hertogenbosch are Hans-Peter Minderhoud (Glock's Toto Jr), Marieke van der Putten (Torvelettens Titanium RS2 N.O.P.), Marlies van Baalen (Habibi DVB N.O.P.) and Thamar Zweistra (Hexagon's Ich Weiss).
