Martin Fuchs prevails in VDL Prize
The Swiss top rider Martin Fuchs managed to win the jump-off of the VDL Prize with a total of 10 combinations. Fuchs stopped the clock at 34.05 with the OS gelding The Sinner (Sanvaro x Landgold 3). "The course builder did a good job. A nice and not too high course, but with a few difficult lines. The Sinner did very well. He had a long break after London. While I was at the Sunshine Tour, the team at home kept him in shape. And they did a good job! For me it is also nice that when I come home the horses feel good and that I can go straight to an event like The Dutch Masters. For me it is one of the best indoor events with great facilities. The warm-up arena is huge! We are all happy to ride here."
Germany’s Daniel Deusser came second with Scuderia 1918 Tobago Z (ZANG, Otangelo x Mr Blue) and Dutchman Piet Raijmakers Jr finished in a good third place with Van Schijndel's Gladstone (KWPN, Grison van den Bisschop x Hemmingway).
